Alexander Shestopalov
Alex received his Master of Science degree in chemistry from Moscow State University, in Moscow, Russia, in 06/2002 and his Candidate of Science degree in organic chemistry from Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, Moscow, in 12/2004. From 09/2002 till 08/2005 his was an exchange student in the Prof. Katritzky’s laboratory at the University of Florida. His research currently involves developing inkless micrcontact printing techniques on functionalized self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) utilizing catalytic reactions between SAMs and elastomeric stamps modified with catalysts.
