Periodic Coffee is on and BETTER than ever!

Start off the week with a fresh cup of Periodic Coffee, served every Monday and Friday from 9:00-10:00AM in the Graduate Student Lounge. We will now be brewing Dunkin Donuts coffee and offering a free doughnut, muffin, or bagel (depending on the selection for the day) with the purchase of a regular beverage for $1.  So come on by and start your Mondays and Fridays with a hot drink, some pastries, and fellowship outside of lab.

August 26th - Campout Town Hall Meeting

Join us for an informative meeting at 5 pm about Duke Basketball Campout. Members of the Campout Committee, as well as senior graduate students, share their experiences from campout and let incoming students learn the ins and outs of this time honored tradition. A MUST if you plan on getting basketball season tickets!!

August 27th - 3rd Annual Softball Summer Sizzler

This will be the final battle between the reigning rec leage champs - the Boozers and the perennial underdogs the Chupacabras. This event is open to all gradstudents.  We will be grilling out with snacks, and drinks starting at 6:30.  The game will get going around 7.  Bring a friend, a chair, and come on out!  First years this is a great time to see the softball teams and make connections for next season!  If you are interested in playing contact either of the captains Graham West (Boozers) or Patrick DeArmond (Chupas).
