* For the first presentation on October 2, the convenor will be the person who is giving the 9th presentation, etc.
 

The convenor begins the seminar by introducing the speaker and giving the title of the seminar.  Following the presentation, the convenor will ask for questions from the audience.  [If there are none, the convenor will be expected to ask a question.]  At the end of the questions, the convenor thanks the speaker and ends the seminar by asking the audience to join him/her in a round of applause for the speaker.
