Mass Spectrometry

The Mass Spectrometry facility is located at 2323 FFSC. The available instruments are:

Agilent LC/MSD Trap

 

  1. Capabilities include ESI-MS using infusion or LCMS
  2. Open access after training or assisted operation available
  3. Usage fee of $24/hour

Applied Biosystems DE-Pro Maldi-MS

  1. Capabilites include both linear and reflectron detection
  2. Open access after training or assisted operation available
  3. Usage fee of $21/hour

Shimadzu QP2010 GC/MS

  1. Capabilities include DIP, GC, EI, and CI with low resolution
  2. Open access after training or assisted operation available
  3. Usage fee of $20/hour

Agilent LCMS-TOF -DART

  1. The instrument has an ION-Sense DART Interface for HRMS.  The DART system is very easy to use and can be used by all.
  2. An Agilent 1200 Series LCMS with a wide variety of columns for separations.
  3. LCMS is operated by the staff and very experienced users.  Mass accuracy and reproducibility of the instrument is extremely high.
  4. Usage fee is $30/hour.
