- Abstract:
Part A : Pleurotin displays antibiotic activity against Gram-positive bacteria and antitumor activity against Erlich ascites carcinoma, L-1210 lymphoid leukemia, and mammary tumors and also highly significant correlation between thioredoxin reductase levels, tumor proliferation, and inhibition of apoptosis.
Part B : Herein this report describes a tandem CM / intramolecular Oxy-SN2 protocol that would comprise a new synthetic strategy to facilitate the efficient construction of 2,5-trans-disubstituted tetrahydrofurans and 2,6-cis-disubstituted tetrahydropyrans.
