Program Travel Hotels Register Abstract History

Introduction

The 2009 annual meeting of the Southeastern Theoretical Chemistry Association (SETCA) will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 15th and 16th, at the Department of Chemistry of Duke University. This year's program will consist of invited and contribution talks during the day on Friday (starting at 9:00 AM) and Saturday morning (starting at 8:30 AM), as well as a poster session with reception on Friday evening. There will be an award for best student poster. The prize includes the Mathematica software donated by Wolfram Research and an additional $100 cash award donated by Dr. Micah Abrams. The poster size should not exceed 3' x 4' but can be smaller. All sessions will take place in French Family Science Center.

The SETCA meeting has traditionally involved strong participation by students and postdoctoral associates. To continue this custom, we have worked to keep the registration fees as low as possible through financial support from sponsors. Thanks to their generous contributions, we are able to keep the registration fees at $55.00, which includes the conference barbeque dinner and poster reception.

We request that everyone register, even invited speakers.
Everyone please submit your abstract to indicate your area of interest. If you want to give a contributed talk, please indicate that in your abstract submission. We will choose a few of these to add to the program of the invited speakers.
